Currently available softwares

(1) FrontFlow/Blue

Jun. 20, 2005   Ver3.0   improved stability: intorduced Residual Cutting Method to solve the pressure equation
        speed-up: 15-20% speed-up with optimzed memory usage
introduced implicit method: 65-70% computation cost reduction with larger time increment
added a program to handle boundary condition files which enables move/copy/append operations of boundaries, inlet velocities specification.
enlarged user guide: addition of a section to set prpoer initial conditions
Jun. 21, 2004 Ver2.0 introduced Fractional-Step method for better convergence
  Jun. 13, 2003 Ver1.0 initial release

(2) FrontFlow/Red

Jun. 20, 2005   Ver2.5   addition of fluid force calculation functionality
removed dependencies on mesh granularity; no need to re-compile whole program for different mesh model
Feb. 25, 2005 Ver2.2 fixed a problem appeared in k-e model computation with mesh model having acute-angled edge
Sep. 02,2004 Ver2.1 vertex center
    elementary reaction
addition of developed turbulence inlet boundary condition
addition of higher order time integration method
addition of higher order convection scheme
Jun. 13, 2003 Ver1.0 initial release
