Computational science is promising in 21st century, as a basis of technology evolution, social life safety and environment conservation.
It needs more efforts to develop software in next generation on high performance computing, where Japanese technology on computer hardware is competitive in the World. Strategic approach by a long-term vision is especially needed for application software connecting to the buildup of industrial competitiveness.

The aim of this project is to develop "frontier simulation software" based on the excellent fundamental researches with collaboration of academic, industries and governmental circle. It grows the technology level to innovate and develop the computational engineering.
