Organization of the Project



Collaborative Research Center of Frontier Simulation Software for Industrial Science (Toshio KOBAYASHI, Director) has been opened at Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), the University of Tokyo, as a central organization of this research project toward collaboration of academic, industries and governmental circle over the country.
An effective framework with industries has been successfully created by "Promotion of an incubation project" at Center for Collaborative Research (CCR).
On the industry side, Advancesoft Corporation was established on May 1, 2002 as a joint venture organization by ZEXIS Corporation, Fuji Research Institution Corporation, Hitachi, Ltd., in order to implement and commercialize the software developed by this project, where dozens of top-class researchers from industries will contribute the project.
The University of Tokyo and AdvancesoftCorp. will carry out this project in cooperation.
