Through this R&D effort, we will come up with a system that can perform “whole-machine analysis” for large-scale assembly structures built from multiple components. This structural analysis system will be operable on PC clusters and inmassively parallel computing environments such as next-generation supercomputers. To develop a structural analysis system that contributes to creating innovations, we will expand and enhance the advanced analytical functions, such as nonlinear analysis and contact analysis, as well as “whole-machine analysis,” of FrontSTR, which was previously developed under the Revolutionary Simulation Software Project.
